What You Need To Know
- Rider and Quinnipiac are meeting for the 12th time, with the Broncs owning a 9-2 lead in the all-time series. Rider owns a 7-2 edge since the Bobcats joined the MAAC in 2013-14, including the last four.
- Rider has averaged a MAAC-best 88.2 points per game in four league contests. 
- Rider finished an 82-76 win at Manhattan on a 15-5 run.
- The Rider defense came up big in a 99-76 win at Niagara on Dec. 31, holding the league's top two scorers (Matt Scott - 23.6 ppg., Kahlil Dukes - 21.8 ppg. entering the game) to a combined 18 points.
- Though MAAC Preseason Player of the Year Tyler Nelson scored at his season average with 21 on Jan. 5, the Broncs forced him into seven turnovers.
- Rider has shot 50 percent or better in each of its last three - 52.0 percent (39-75) on Dec. 31 at Niagara, 50.0 percent (32-64) Jan. 5 vs. Fairfield and a season-high 53.0 percent (35-66) Jan. 7 at Manhattan.
- Frederick Scott hit the game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer to cap a comeback from down 10 in the second half at Penn State.
- Stevie Jordan has been solid all-around (14.1 ppg, 6.7 apg, 4.3 rpg and 2.1 spg). 
- QU beat Monmouth and Siena before falling to Canisius and Saint Peter's to open the MAAC slate. Quinnipiac edged Marist, 80-79, in overtime Wednesday.
 - Under first-year Head Coach Baker Dunleavy, Cameron Young has led Quinnipiac at 17.9 ppg. and 6.2 rpg. Chaise Daniels has added 12.6 ppg.  
- Sixth-year Head Coach Kevin Baggett's teams have posted a 95-85 record and reached the MAAC Quarterfinals in each of his first five seasons. Baggett was the 2015 MAAC Coach of the Year.
