What You Need To Know
- Rider and Robert Morris are meeting for the 13th time, with the Broncs owning a 9-3 edge in the all-time series. The last time the two teams met was Nov. 9, 2012, a 79-54 Rider victory in Kevin Baggett's head coaching debut.
- The Broncs have dropped their last two following a four-game winning streak. The setbacks have come at Providence and Drexel.
- Redshirt freshman Jordan Allen has won three-straight MAAC Rookie of the Week awards. He's scored in double figures in each of his first eight collegiate games, including a season-high 28 at Providence.
- Sophomore Tyere Marshall scored 16 points at Providence and followed up with 23 points on 11-of-13 field goals and 12 rebounds at Drexel.
- Sophomore point guard Stevie Jordan has been strong all-around at 14.5 points, 7.4 assists and 4.9 rebounds per game.
- The Broncs have had more turnovers than assists just once this season.
- Robert Morris had a four-game winning streak snapped Saturday at Siena. RMU had beaten Duquesne, Norfolk State, Little Rock and Youngstown State.
- Dachon Burke leads the Colonials at 16.6 points per game to go along with 6.6 rebounds and 2.7 steals per contest.
- RU was picked to finish seventh in the MAAC Preseason Poll. Also picked to finish seventh a year ago, the Broncs finished sixth.
- Sixth-year Head Coach Kevin Baggett's teams have posted a 90-82 record and reached the MAAC Quarterfinals in each of his first five seasons. Baggett was the 2015 MAAC Coach of the Year.
