What You Need To Know
- The Broncs and Ducks have never met on the hardwood.
- Rider is making its second appearance in the NIT. The Broncs fell at Penn State on March 11, 1998, in their only other appearance.
- RU is 1-9 in modern national postseason tournaments, going 0-3 in the NCAA's, 0-1 in the NIT, 0-2 in the CBI and 1-3 in the CIT.
- The Broncs earned a share of the MAAC Regular Season Championship with a 15-3 mark in league play. It was Rider's fourth share of a MAAC title (2001-02, 2004-05, 2007-08).
- Redshirt freshman forward Frederick Scott was named MAAC 6th Player of the Year, while Head Coach Kevin Baggett earned MAAC Coach of the Year.
- Rider had a league-high four players selected to the All-MAAC Teams, including Dimencio Vaughn (1st Team), Stevie Jordan (2nd Team), Frederick Scott (3rd Team) and Jordan Allen (3rd Team, All-Rookie Team).
- Rider's 15-3 record and .833 winning percentage are the Broncs' highest marks in 21 years in the MAAC. The 15 wins tie the 2014-15 team (15-5) for the most wins by a Rider team in MAAC play.
- Rider shot a season-high 61.4 percent on Feb. 25 against Iona.
- Rider won 20 games for just the 10th time in the 90-year history of the program. The team record is 23 wins (2007-08, 2010-11).
- Rider has won seven games this season when trailing in the final four minutes. The Broncs have also broken a tie in the final minute to win three times.
- Sixth-year Head Coach Kevin Baggett's teams have posted a 107-88 record. Baggett won MAAC Coach of the Year in 2015 and 2018.
