What You Need To Know
- Rider and Fairfield are meeting for the 63rd time, with the Stags owning a 34-28 lead in the all-time series. Fairfield has swept the last two season series.
- Though a fixture in the Broncs' line-up over the last two seasons, Stevie Jordan played just 11 minutes against the Stags last year due to injury and suspension.
- The Rider defense came up big in a 99-76 win at Niagara on Dec. 31, holding the league's top two scorers (Matt Scott - 23.6 ppg., Kahlil Dukes - 21.8 ppg.) to a combined 18 points.
- Rider shot a season-high 52.0 percent (39-75) on Dec. 31 at Niagara.
- Frederick Scott hit the game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer to cap a comeback from down 10 in the second half at Penn State.
- Stevie Jordan became the third-fastest Bronc to 500 points in the last 25 years, Dec. 22 at Penn State.
- Jordan Allen won three-straight MAAC Rookie of the Week awards and scored in double figures in each of his first 10 collegiate games.
- Stevie Jordan has been strong all-around at 14.5 ppg., 7.1 apg. and 4.5 rpg. 
- Fairfield defeated Saint Peter's, 70-61, and fell at Manhattan, 61-58, last week.
- Preseason MAAC Player of the Year Tyler Nelson leads the Stags at 20.4 points and 3.1 assists per game. Ferron Flavors, Jr. (11.2 ppg.) has also contributed.
- RU was picked to finish seventh in the MAAC Preseason Poll. Also picked to finish seventh a year ago, the Broncs finished sixth.
- Sixth-year Head Coach Kevin Baggett's teams have posted a 93-85 record and reached the MAAC Quarterfinals in each of his first five seasons. Baggett was the 2015 MAAC Coach of the Year.
