What You Need To Know
- Rider and Drexel are meeting for the 59th time, with the Dragons leading the all-time series, 30-28. However, the Broncs have won both games coached by Kevin Baggett with wins in 2012-13 and last Dec. 16.
- The Broncs had won four-straight prior to a hard-fought 88-84 loss at Providence on Wednesday. RU defeated Hartford, George Washington, UC Irvine and Hampton in the four-game winning streak.
- Redshirt freshman Jordan Allen has scored in double figures in each of his first seven collegiate games, including a season-high 28 at Providence.
- DePaul transfer Frederick Scott has a team-high three double-doubles and led RU in consecutive wins with 17 points at George Washington and 22 against UC Irvine. His driving bucket in the final minute was the difference at GW.
- Sophomore point guard Stevie Jordan has been strong all-around at 15.3 points, 7.7 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game.
- The Broncs have had more turnovers than assists just once this season.
- Drexel snapped a three-game losing skid Wednesday at home vs. Lafayette and is 2-1 at home, defeating Division III Arcadia and falling to Bowling Green.
- Tramaine Isabell leads five Dragons in double figures at 19.8 points and 8.5 rebounds per game.
- RU was picked to finish seventh in the MAAC Preseason Poll. Also picked to finish seventh a year ago, the Broncs finished sixth.
- Sixth-year Head Coach Kevin Baggett's teams have posted an 90-81 record and reached the MAAC Quarterfinals in each of his first five seasons. Baggett was the 2015 MAAC Coach of the Year.
