What You Need To Know
- Rider and UC Irvine are meeting for the first time in the programs' histories.
- The Broncs are coming off a 67-65 win at George Washington, Rider's first win over an Atlantic 10 team since Dec. 22, 2010 (La Salle).
- The winner of Thursday's Rider/UC Irvine game will face the winner between Northern Arizona and Hampton on Friday at 10:30 p.m. (ET)/7:30 p.m. (PT), while the two losing teams will play the first game of the day on Friday at 11 a.m. (PT)/2 p.m. (ET). Â

- The Anteaters are 2-3 with wins over Denver and Division III Chapman, while falling to South Dakota State, Kansas State and Arizona State.
- Tommy Rutherford leads the 'Eaters at 11.6 ppg., while Evan Leonard is close behind at 11.0 ppg. Eyassu Worku has chipped in with 9.2 points and a team-best 4.0 assists per game, while Jonathan Galloway's 7.8 rpg. are a team high.
- In its first three victories of the year, Rider has been tied at the half.
- RU was picked to finish seventh in the MAAC Preseason Poll. Also picked to finish seventh a year ago, the Broncs finished sixth.
