What You Need To Know
- Rider and George Washington have split four meetings all-time. However, the two teams played three of the contests in the 1930's and the other in the 1971-72 season. Rider won the first two meetings, while GW took the last two.
- Redshirt freshman Jordan Allen led the Broncs in scoring in each of the first two games and is averaging a team-best 17.0 points per game.
- Sophomore point guard Stevie Jordan has been strong all-around at 16.7 points, 7.7 assists and 6.7 rebounds per game. He had 19 points, nine rebounds and eight assists before exiting the Hartford game with eight minutes remaining.
- The Broncs have turned the ball over just 32 times, while dishing out 46 assists.
- The Colonials are 2-1 with wins over MEAC foes Howard and Hampton and a loss at Florida State.
- Jair Bolden leads GW at 16.0 points and 3.3 assists per game, while Yuta Watanabe has added 12.7 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game.
- In its two victories, Rider has been tied at 36-36 at the half but averaged 53.5 points in the second half and outscored the opposition, 107-56.  
- Rider made 14-of-31 three-point attempts against Hampton. The 14 made three-pointers and 31 attempts tied and eclipsed the Broncs' previous highs, respectively, in six years under Head Coach Kevin Baggett.
- RU was picked to finish seventh in the MAAC Preseason Poll. Also picked to finish seventh a year ago, the Broncs finished sixth.
- Sixth-year Head Coach Kevin Baggett's teams have posted an 87-80 record and reached the MAAC Quarterfinals in each of his first five seasons. Baggett was the 2015 MAAC Coach of the Year.
