What You Need To Know
- Rider and Iona are meeting for the 43rd time, with the Gaels owning a 27-15 lead in the all-time series. Iona swept two games last season. Rider's two wins over Iona in the last three seasons have both come in overtime.

- Iona has held opponents to a MAAC-leading 58.8 points per game and also leads the league in rebounding defense (33.0) and rebounding margin (+4.6). 

- The Broncs pushed league leading Quinnipiac, trailing by just one after three quarters, but fell, 91-79, on Dec. 30. Robin Perkins scored a career-high 33 points, including the 1,000th of her collegiate career.

- Rider is 3-1 at home this season.

- Stella Johnson was named USBWA Freshman of the Week, MAAC Rookie of the Week and College Sports Madness MAAC Player of the Week for her 24-point, 9-rebound, 5-steal, 4-assists performance in a win over St. Francis Brooklyn.

- The Broncs' 8-3 start signified just the fourth start of at least eight wins in the team's first 11 games of the season, joining the 2011-12 (8-3), 1993-94 (9-2) and 1982-83 (8-3) squads. 

- Rider won its first league opener since 2002-03 with a 71-70 win at Canisius and extended to 2-0 in MAAC play and swept the league's Western New York road trip for the first time in 20 years in the league with a 78-58 win at Niagara.  

- Rider is 8-0 when it's led at halftime.

- Rider ranks first in the MAAC in field-goal percentage (.432) and second in scoring offense (69.8), scoring margin (+3.0), free-throw percentage (.741), three-point field-goal percentage (.338), rebounding defense (35.7), steals per game (10.4) and turnover margin (+1.1).
