What You Need To Know
- Rider and St. Francis are meeting for the 28th time, with the Broncs holding a 22-5 lead in the all-time series. The last meeting came last Nov. 18, when the Broncs took a 71-59 road win in Brooklyn Heights.
- Wednesday's game is the Broncs' first at home since Nov. 17. Rider is 2-0 at home this season.
- The Broncs' 7-2 start was the best nine-game start in program history, tied with the 1982-83 and 1993-94 squads.
- Rider won its first league opener since 2002-03 with a 71-70 win at Canisius and extended to 2-0 in MAAC play and swept the league's Western New York road trip for the first time in 20 years in the league with a 78-58 win at Niagara.
- The Broncs extended to a four-game winning streak with a 75-68 at Lehigh and a 79-75 victory at Towson. All four wins came on the road.
- The Terriers (2-8) are led by Olivia Levey at 13.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. St. Francis' two wins came at home against Monmouth and Saint Peter's.
- Rider is 7-0 when it's led at halftime.
- Rider started the season 3-0 with wins at Princeton, vs. Lafayette and vs. La Salle. It was the program's first 3-0 start in 34 years.
- Robin Perkins ranks fourth in the MAAC at 16.3 points per game. She scored a career-high 29 points at Niagara and another 23 at Towson. Perkins earned MAAC and Met Basketball Writers Player of the Week for the week of Dec. 5-11.
- Rider ranks first in the MAAC in field-goal percentage (.423) and second in scoring offense (68.1), scoring margin (+3.1), free-throw percentage (.720), steals per game (10.4) and turnover margin (+1.0).
