Rider is coming off a 74-61 win over La Salle on November 17, the second game in a row that the Broncs led wire to wire.

Central Florida is a member of the American Athletic Conference (AAC) and the Knights are 4-1 following a 66-59 road win at Butler on Tuesday. St. Bonaventure (A-10) enters the tournament 1-3 with a win over Colgate and losses to MAAC opponents Canisius and Niagara. The Bonnies face Austin Peay on Saturday before facing Rider. The Broncs are 1-3 all-time against the Bonnies with Rider's last win in the series in 1998-99.
