"Merriweather executed a great hurdle race today. He was the last qualifier from the semis but he got a great start and powered his way to a 5th place finish. He also anchored the 4x400 relay. He is a big time team player and really steps up for the cause when needed."
"DuBard had an outstanding weekend earning two All East honors by finishing 5th in the shot put today. He passed several athletes during his last two attempts which is what you want from your athletes. You want them to recognize the moment and step up and fulfill their potential."
"Lyken had a big weekend earning All East honors in the 500 and the 4x400 relay. He really took his performance to a new level this weekend. The team needed him and he delivered."
"I was really proud of the relays to close out the meet. We take a lot of pride in our relays and the guys were great when we needed them to be today. They recognize how important the relays are and they know the expectations. They do everything they can to show the staff that they deserve to be on these relays because they want to be part of something special. " -
